Daniel Emilio, ESQ

Founding Attorney

Daniel G. Emilio has been practicing in the area of Employment and Business law almost exclusively since 1993. Mr. Emilio now primarily represents Businesses, but he did represent employees for over 10 years giving him an opportunity to see both sides of the law, and to use the best strategies to both pursue and defend Business Lawsuits. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Emilio was the President and CEO of several successful Manufacturing Companies, including 20 years in a Metal Finishing/Plating Company and steel fabrication Company, and 5 years with a Chemical Equipment Catalog Sales Company. Mr. Emilio has extensive experience in entrepreurship, the business world, and management of a Corporation.

Since becoming an attorney, Mr. Emilio has primarily focused his practice on employment and business litigation, in such areas as wrongful termination, wage and hour law, contractual disputes, collections, and Americans with Disability Act (ADA) claims. Mr. Emilio strongly believes that for Businesses, the best method to protect companies from Lawsuits is to take protective measures such as No-Cost Mandatory Arbitration Agreements for all business contracts, and employment agreements. Mr. Emilio also strongly emphasizes preventative measures in handling Employee Disputes, such as legal consultations regarding regular business practices and policies, carefully documenting all improper employee behavior, and prompt resolution of disputes before a lawsuit is filed.

In 2003, Emilio Law Group expanded into the complex area of Employment and Consumer Class Actions. Mr. Emilio has been lead counsel in over 60 class action wage/hour lawsuits, and the ELG staff is highly trained in litigating these cases. Especially in the area of class action wage lawsuits, it is vital that your attorney firm have attorneys and support staff who have handled many of these cases.

In addition to being an attorney, Mr. Emilio is a California state certified Adult Residential Facility (ARF) administrator and a state certified Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) administrator. This experience has helped Mr. Emilio represent both RCFE and ARF homes and their caregivers in employment matters. In his spare time, Mr. Emilio likes to spend time with his wife Sandra, their five sons and six grandchildren and play classical piano. Mr. Emilio is also active in the community, volunteering with a vocal chorale group at the Landmark Senior Center.
