Charles S. Pok, Esq. Associate Areas of Practice     Charles Pok has been practicing since 2007, and specializes in Civil Litigation, Imigration, and also practices Family Law. Mr Pok is also a professional interpreter for the US Immigration Court, and is fluent in Chinese, Mandorin and Cantonese. Mr. Pok is also a licensed California Fire and Casualty Broker, and handles litigation related to Insurance Coverage Issues. Mr. Charles Pok grew up in Macau and came to the United States as a teenager. He first graduated from University of West Los Angeles under the famous ABA approved paralegal study program. After more than ten years of actual working experience in the legal community, Mr. Charles Pok graduated and obtained the Juris Doctor Degree from Trinity School of Law with multiple academic achievement awards. Before and after being admitted to the California State Bar, Mr. Charles Pok has been working a legal researcher and civil litigation coordinator for various law firms in the areas of employment law, contract, immigration, intellectual property and finance, serving mostly small to mid size business clients. Mr. Charles Pok’s experience in legal research and more than 1,000 hours of actual courtroom experience makes him an invaluable asset to the firm. Mr. Charles Pok is certified as a court interpreter for US Immigration Court, he has professional level fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English. Mr. Charles Pok is passionate about providing excellent legal service especially to those who c nnot speak English with ease and those who have limited resources. Mr. Charles Pok is also a licensed fire and casualty insurance broker in the State of California. He is specialized in commercial insurance and risk management for small to mid size businesses.
